Selby Eco Town
Could all members please e-mail flightdesk@sherburnaeroclub.com
with their views on the proposed 'Eco Town'
We need to know as soon as possible as there is
a proposal to build a very large Eco housing development at gascoigne
wood that will extend across the threshold of 29 runway all the way to
Digby's farm at the back of the clubhouse.
This is very important
so please don't delay, send your for/against e-mail to the flightdesk
Please mark the subject as 'Eco'
York Press Have been running articles on these contravertial

climate and the lack of bookings early in the week the Club will be closed

aircraft will have to be handled by owners, and the Club-House will be
closed. As and when there is an upturn in demand then we will revert to
7 day opening. V & V Day will go ahead as planned on Monday 26th May
We are also "moth-balling"
three aircraft, two PA28s and the Robin CK
