The Touring Group is aimed very much at recently qualified pilots who wish to stretch their wings and begin to use aeroplanes to explore further afield than just the usual Sunday run to Sandtoft. With a huge amount of collective experiance the touring group are the ideal people to help you to begin exploring the delights of flying abroad and long distance touring.
Of course, as is always the case with Sherburn events, students and experienced pilots alike are most welcome. If you are planning your first foreign foray, or still deciding what kind of flying would suit you best then it will be definitely worth a touring group trip.
Steve Ware ( contact via the flight desk ) is particularly interested in increasing the interest in long distance travel and helping Sherburn pilots to expand their horizons.
